The Source
The Source meets on Thursdays at 8pm in The Kiva . It’s awesome, essentially. Each Thursday, students from all over the Albuquerque area gather together at UNM for “The Source” – a place where we’re committed to seeking the source of life, love, truth and intimacy in Jesus. It’s a place where you can connect with old friends and meet new ones, take a break from the books and have a good time. There’s a lot of things you can do on a Thursday night, but “The Source” is one place where you can experience God. Check it out this semester every Thursday at 8:00 PM in the Kiva Auditorium on campus.
Community Groups
Community groups at UNM are a place to gather with other students in a fun and authentic environment. Our community groups are the life of who we are as CRU because we believe that community is where real life change takes place. They are designed for students from every corner of campus to meet together and investigate what the Bible has to say about life. They are also a great way to meet people, deepen friendships, get plugged into Cru at UNM, and learn how to reach out to other students on campus. They are open to anyone, whether you consider yourself a Christian or are simply taking an objective look at who Jesus is.
Serve The World
We are passionate about demonstrating God’s passion for people. This means clearly communicating the love of Jesus through both our words and our actions. CRU is passionate about providing regular opportunities to be the “hands and feet” of Jesus, where the world sees the reality of Jesus through the words and actions of his people. If you are passionate about caring for the “least of these” and having many opportunities to share the love of Jesus with those around you… CRU is for you! We will have several opportunities to serve the world throughout the year; in our local campus community, across the city of Albuquerque, throughout the United States and beyond.
